Eulogy for a Once Great Nation.  Obama wins a Second Term in 2012

I’m glad that I probably won’t be around in another twenty years.  If I were, I’d be deemed a non tax-paying parasite on the state.  The cost of my maintenance would warrant that I be discarded as counter productive.  Perhaps they’d even use my body for bio fuel. 

2012 marks that last election in America where there is a true two party system.  From now on, it’s an increasingly left wing Democrat Party with any other used as window dressing to create the illusion of democracy.  For all intent and purposes, we’ve become Venezuela. 

Obama’s first four years was one of establishing the mechanisms for internet censorship and National Defense Authorization Act indefinite incarceration.  The next four years will begin the implementation stage.  Don’t worry.  It will begin slowly.  You won’t even see it happening until they come for you. 

We can kiss the concept of national autonomy goodbye.  Through a series of United Nations Treaties, America becomes one of many provinces, dominated by an unelected bureaucracy of dictatorships under the U.N. Mantle. 

Perhaps our military will be slipped into the U.N. conglomerate, being used to further their policy of “Responsibility to Protect.”  Any nation whose people raise their head for “unapproved” change will be brutally crushed. 

Economically, the once dynamic United States can kiss it’s average annual growth rate of 3.5% goodbye.  At best it will be 2% and even that will only exist in non-recession years.  “Recovery” will continue to be viewed as between 1.5-2% which means de facto decline in national wealth.  

Unemployment will cease to be a factor as increasing millions are put on the dole and paid with an inflated currency that will prove to be increasingly worthless.  Innovation will cease since there is no benefit in creativity.  

America will simply stumble along, slowly declining until becoming one more backwater outpost in a world government with a privileged class living a lavish lifestyle.  Eventually it will be relegated to the dustbin of history, fractured into numerous small backwaters run by United Nations appointees. 

Hopefully, I will never live long enough to see this, but our children certainly will.  I hope they will enjoy their hope and change living in a sci-fi movie of monotony, uniformity, mediocrity and repression.  They probably won’t remember the difference, because nobody will be left to tell them of the American “City On The Hill.” 

In George Orwell's book 1984 it was stated, "Who controls the past controls the future, who controls the present controls the past."  Will the last one to remember America, please turn out the lights.

Were you aware that according to most economists, the recession ended in May of 2009?  This is absolutely true.  It began in mid 2007 and as with virtually all recessions, ran its cycle in just under two years. 

This was long before any Obama plans took effect.  And in the ensuing months, Obama’s trillion dollar “Job Stimulus” provided welfare for raises and pension funding to unionized civil servants.  The private sector was transformed into a pariah, with the welfare of 80% of America’s work force cast aside. 

If you weren’t a government employee or Union member, you became an Enemy of The State.  First it was the Doctors who Obama claimed would cut your feet off to turn a buck.  Then it was the banking industry that employed millions of taxpayers.  He waged war on an Insurance industry that employed additional millions and went on to develop a plan to ravage our energy production. 

A movement called the “Tea Party” arose to the scorn of Obama Lemming liberals, who mocked their public demonstrations for fiscal sanity as a sexual act.  “TeaBagger” was the snickering term thrown around and the liberal press giggled at the lewd connotation. 

Old white people became the enemy, as if being elderly or white was something filthy.  And as Barack Obama pushed for an Obamacare with an actual cost of trillions, he stole money from the elderly by taking one half trillion dollars from Medicare.  

Obama didn’t really care about the 15 million private sector unemployed.  People like him long for creating a group of dependent voters relying on the government for the basic survival of their families.  He pushed for a carbon tax that would cause the rest of American industry to relocate overseas and increase the cost of living by some 25-30%.  He was a President gone amok. 

And all the while, America’s business community cringed at plans for rebounding from the recession because the most incompetent President in modern history was creating such uncertainty. 

But on November 2, 2010, the American people shouted “ENOUGH.  We’ve given you almost two years and everything you touch turns to crap.  You don’t listen to us.  You push for things we don’t want.  You have lavish vacations and scoff at our sorrow and insecurities.  You are attempting to transform our country into a 2^nd rate, emasculated Nation, by redistributing our hard earned wealth.” 

The American people voted to take out an Order of Protection against a President who promised so much and delivered duplicity, divisiveness and incompetence.   With changes in Congress, the out of control White House Occupant might finally be placed on a tight leash.  It was all about Obama.
